Bir lise öğrencisinin intiharından üç hafta sonra dağ yoluna çıkan okul otobüsü ıssız bir bölgede bozulunca kafile kendisini terk edilmiş bir otelde mahsur bulur. Arkadaş kaybıyla sarsılan Tsotsa’nın geçmişteki karanlık sırları gündeme getirmesiyle gruptaki huzursuzluk tırmanır. “Fil” (2003) ve “Sineklerin Tanrısı” (1963) gibi klasikleri çağrıştıran bu provokatif drama, soğukkanlı atmosferi ve keskin gözlemciliği sayesinde, gençlerin bastırılmış öfkesini ve toplumsal kayıtsızlığı sarsıcı bir psikolojik gerilime dönüştürüyor.
A powerful voice in Serbian cinema, Miroslav Terzić’s latest entry brings peer-on-peer bullying, digital violence, and societal indifference to the screen with freezing psychological tension. Just three weeks after a high school student's suicide, a class trip comes to a halt when the bus breaks down, leaving the party stranded at a remote hotel. Tension escalates into an uncontrolled spiral as the traumatized Tsotsa confronts the group about uncomfortable truths surrounding their friend's death. Echoing classics like Elephant (2003) and Lord of the Flies (1963), this provocative drama transforms adolescent suppressed rage and social apathy into a striking psychological thriller through observational detachment and a chilling atmosphere.
Miroslav Terzić
(1969, Sırbistan) Belgrad Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. İlk uzun metrajlı filmi “Redemption Street” (2012) ile uluslararası alanda dikkat çekti. 2019 Berlinale Panorama bölümünde gösterilen ikinci filmi “Stitches”, birçok festivalden ödülle döndü. “3 Hafta Sonra”, yönetmenin üçüncü uzun metrajlı filmidir.
(1969, Serbia) He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. He gained international attention with his feature debut “Redemption Street” (2012). His second feature “Stitches” (2019) premiered at the Berlinale Panorama section and achieved wide international acclaim, winning numerous awards. “3 Weeks After” is his third feature film.
