Romeo Aldea is a 49-year-old doctor living in a small mountain town in Romania. He raised his daughter Eliza with the ideal of sending her abroad to study when she turned 18. His plans are about to come to fruition; Eliza wins a scholarship to study psychology in England. All she has to do is pass her high school graduation exams. For Eliza, a successful student, these exams are merely a formality. The day before her first written exam, Eliza is attacked, jeopardizing her entire future. Now Romeo must make a decision. There are several ways to resolve this situation, but none align with the principles he taught his daughter.
