The movie tells the story of Zarife and Metin, who love each other very much and rebel against the order after they cannot meet due to customs and traditions.
While Zarife and Metin try to find a way to reunite in their village, which is so bound by tradition that it prevents them from getting married, Metin comes up with the idea of "Dezmal (manuscript) kidnapping" that will change the whole balance. While Metin wants to kidnap Zarife's manuscript, he kidnaps Zarife's sister's manuscript. According to tradition and customs, Metin will have to marry her sister, not Zarife. In order not to marry the older sister of the girl he loves, Metin decides to change the traditions he has always been against.
