The Dark Knight risks everything for the good of Gotham City in Batman Begins, the sequel to the Batman saga. Disillusioned after the deaths of his parents, heiress Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world to fight injustice and terrorize those who feed on the fearful. Returning to Gotham, Wayne emerges as Batman, the masked hero who uses strength, intelligence and an array of high-tech gadgets to confront the evil forces threatening the city.
