In 1962, in Paris, 17-year-old student Pauline, a.k.a. Pomme, dreams of leaving her family and becoming a singer. Suzanne, 22, tries to cope with the tragedy of the suicide of the father of her two children. Life separates them, each one fighting her own battle as a woman. Ten years later, they meet again at a feminist demonstration.
