When her older brother Thaddeus is mysteriously abducted by the Sorcerer, 11-year-old Lydia sets out to find him in the Misty Sea. Rescued by the crew of a flying ship named the Dolphin, Lydia becomes an apprentice to the Star Watcher, Ambrosia. Ambrosia is trying to find other missing children, including her own son. Determined to solve the mystery, Lydia must learn the art of stargazing and prepare to confront the Sorcerer.
