The film tells the story of Meltem, a neurocriminalist who, after learning that her grandmother had been repeating the same word for days—a word her two patients had also been saying constantly—takes her camera to her grandmother’s side to investigate the situation.

A neurocriminologist who believes in evidence rather than ghosts sets out to uncover the meaning behind a single word her patients whisper during their episodes: “They’re here.” Two patients who have never met, yet the same word. And then, a phone call that night: her grandmother has been muttering the same thing for days. Meltem grabs her camera and returns to the village where she was born. After that night, nothing is as she once knew it. Meltem records every moment. Because no one believes her, and the only proof that she hasn’t lost her mind is the camera in her hand.
